Joseph Mancuso (Joman), 24 years old, has been producing electronic music for the better part of the past decade. Since being signed to Velcro City Records in 2008, Joman has released dozens of tracks on Beatport.com, remixed and collaborated with artists such as Celldweller, Adam K, J Scott G (formerly of Deepsky), DJ Micro, Dragon, Trajikk, Jontron and more, managed to make it into the Top 100 Beatport Charts in several genres, performed at massive events such as Global Dance Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival alongside artists like BT, ATB, Darude, Gareth Emery and more, as well as receiving air play on BBC Radio 1 and having his music regularly circulated on Sirius, XM and Pandora. In 2010, Joman decided to participate in Beatportal’s, “Deadmau5 – The Ultimate Remix Challenge,” in which artists were pitted against each other to produce their best remix of the popular Canadian producer’s track, “SOFI Needs A Ladder.” Out of roughly 900 submissions, Joman’s remix was selected as one of only 10 semifinalists. Despite not taking first place, the contest resulted in Joman’s remix becoming the #1 most downloaded remix of the song on Soundcloud. Apart from his own successes, Joman has had his music played by Matt Darey, Kissy Sellout, Mosdam and more, at Ultra Music Festival and a variety of other events around the world. Slowly but surely, Joman is becoming an established name in the world of electronic dance music.
